An opinion
First off, thank you for the picture and question last night, I’m surprised i got anything. I will answer the question here, as I’ve already sent it to the person and i want some opinions from people out here.
It was about my opinion on age differences and relationships and Mt preference. My opinion is this, as long as all parties are mature enough to understand what they are doing and the stigmas they might have to deal with, i have no issues with age differences other them those imposed by the laws in your state/country. As for myself, I’m not really one for younger people, and the biggest difference I’ve been with is 40 when i was 20.
This is what has happened in new york dunkin doughnuts, because of a ban on large sugary drinks put in place, without a real vote or anything, by the mayor, larger than i think 16 or 20 ounce drinks will be unsweetened and you’d have to add your own flavor shots or sugar, or they’d be fined by the city. Health things aside, I dislike bans on things just put into place without any choice. The mayor here has been just passing basically edicts for three terms (yes three even though the term limit laws were supposed to stop at two) on all kinds of things, trying to force people to be healthier by law. I’m a big fan of free will, where the person has the choice to do better or not. I’m also a big fan of these things being put to a vote, at least in the city council, just someone to debate the pros and cons about it, not just someone telling you that you can’t get something you want because it’s bad for you. Everyone knows that big sugared drinks are bad for you, and if you want to make a shitty choice, you should be able to.
rant over
Apparently unpopular opinion.
I never liked Rebecca Guay’s art on magic cards. It always was wayyyy too pastel to me.
opinion to people who say ew when i say i like things like liver or hearts or any other kind of offal. one, i can respect it if you tried it and didn’t like it, but if you have never tried it and you’re grossed out…stop it. if you can eat a chicken leg, you should be able to eat it’s feet or heart. it’s all the same and it’s good. nose to tail is the way to eat, if you eat meat at all

my thoughts so i don’t have to reblog that again.
that first scene with Daeny and Drogo is, in my interpretation of both show and book, her not romantic. she eventually romantic with him, but in that first sex scene, it is not her giving herself to him, it’s her doing what he wants because it’s what her bother wants and she is so timid from a life of abuse from her brother that she’d do anything not to “wake the dragon”, including marry and give her virginity to a man she doesn’t know.
what you’re doing when you make it so she is romantic with him then is the same thing people who say “loki was misunderstood” do, taking the text and making up what you want to fit something you want. i’m sorry, but that’s my opinion on it.

My replay to some fly comment Director Lee Daniels said in an interview
So I typed out this long ass thing about a comment I heard on the TV from an interview I was only kind of listening to, when i heard something that annoyed me. Then when I finished it, I noticed it was kind of long, so I put the read more link there so that if you wanted to read me rant, you can, and if not, you won’t have to scroll past all that text. There you go.

thoughts i had while cooking
There should be a justice league movie. marvel, through all their movies, set up this world and that’s how they got the avengers movie done. dc isn’t doing that, at least not with their live action movies. each of their movies seems to be in it’s own world, and outside of the batman films, none of them have been all that good. They need to revamp superman, green lantern, make a green lantern film, and somewhere put flash and martian manhunter in there, and then maybe we can have it happen. it is something i’d really love to see, more than avengers actually, but it’s not going to happen in so long as dc movies are self contained stories that take themselves too seriously. i love the batman movies, but they aren’t superhero movies, they are movies that involve superheroes. it works for batman, but in so long as they do that, but make superhero movies for everything else, it’ll never work.
ok…so whose idea was Batwing?

One man to protect all of Africa? really? i like the art in though, but i just wish it wasn’t such a stupid idea. I would get it if he focused on one major city in africa and helped out in the other parts of it, or there was a whole team of these new heroes in all of the other continents, other than just one guy for a whole fucking continent.
there where other superheroes in africa in batwing. thats exactly what the major story arc is touching on right now :|
i’ve only read into issue three, so forgive me if it does go into a bigger cast, for from what i can see, there is on active hero, batwing, and then all the inactive ones massacre is hunting. what i meant was like, say, a justice league of africa, where there are a bunch of different heroes, not heroes turned teacher or attache.

after reading the first five issues of I, Vampire.
obviously, by the number of posts i have up from the pages of it, i liked it. i like the story, i like the art, the way the pages are set up, that there is, save for splashes, there is a uniform panel formatting. i love how they feature characters from other books in it, like Constantine and Batman, and how big this story is, it doesn’t seem like this is just an arc for an ongoing series, but this has a definite end, the writer(s) knows where this is going, and will come to a nice conclusion. the worst thing about stories, be they books, tv shows, or comics, are when the writer doesn’t know where it is going and just keeps going and going until the money or interest runs out. This book doesn’t look like it will end out like that.

rewatching the first episode of comic book men
and looking at the part that caused a great hub bub, the chucky doll part, and, though most of their comments aren’t very good…everyone has the right to have their opinion, however assholish they maybe.

god this boromir valentine thing is really eating at me
i might have a very unpopular opinion here, i have a very clear line where i can say that something is your original content and when it is open to whoever wants to use it. that being effort, if you take a screen cap or a cropped picture from a movie, a red heart covered background, and what is basically a phrase from a meme customized for the holiday, that is not in my mind original content. now if you drew the picture, then i might be able to say it’s yours, or if it is completely original, like something a painter made or something. but a cutting of boromir with a corny ‘one does not simply” line does not original content make, and now i regret not taking a firmer stance and not take it down, not that it is stopping people from still reblogging it and some from talking about.
Something about how books on tv work.
This is mostly about fantasy novels turned into tv shows, i.e The Dresden Files, Game of Thrones, and The Sword of Truth series (TV show title being The Legend of the Seeker). I think it should all work like games of thrones did, the first season is the first book and so on, mostly because of fans like me. No including game of thrones, i got into the series watching the show and was impressed by it, and got all the books. yes i mean all of them, i’m insane like that. Then I read them and look back at the show and think….this is shit…ugh. I wish I could like both, but I can’t, because they don’t follow the books and not just that, but they take shit from other books and just through them in. I’m just saying, if you have to make a book series into a show, then do it like game of thrones did, follow the story the author works very hard on writing, and do it well. rant over i guess.

according to the little news banner on g4
The CW is working on a pilot for Green Arrow. I HATED SMALLVILLE. There was nothing good about that show. Nothing. I hope the Green Arrow in this show isn’t that Green Arrow.
